ITALY - Venice, Cinque Terre, & Tuscany

This Workshop was all about capturing the feeling of Italy!  We took time to absorb all the sensory richness that Tuscany has to offer; the unique quality of light on the sun drenched vineyard hills, the time etched textures and shadow patterns on villas and villages, the people and pace of life that has inspired artists to create their finest masterpieces for generations. 

We enjoyed the rhythm of life and beauty of Venice and the legendary taste of local Italian foods and wines.  All of this and more became the content of our sketches and little
paintings. 

Each day we filled our sketchbooks with whatever inspired us, and had two full days in quiet studio time where I demonstrated how to use our sketches to create small paintings that are personal memories and stimulate our creative growth long after we return home. 

Painters and non painters shared so many incredible moments.
